Camp Paxson will make you smile, as it brings back fond memories of days gone by. Amid the whispering Douglas fir and fragrant larch trees, history will pull you in. The clean air and clear water will refresh you. Visits from the occasional deer and resident beaver will inspire you – this serene and vibrant setting allows for tailoring your own special event. Scouting, church groups, school visits, work retreats, family reunions, weddings – all are welcome.
The peninsula is home to fifteen sleeping cabins, two bath houses, a Caretaker’s Cabin, and a Lodge/Dining Hall. Outdoor recreational activities include volleyball, horseshoes, swimming, basketball, hiking, and a large fire pit under a star-studded Big Sky, perfect for building lasting memories and a deep connection to place.
